Manual Internet Configuration Settings for MTN, Airtel, Glo and Etisalat

I Received a mail from a friend, and he wants to know how to configure your sim card manually, now this is a good question, it will surprise you that only a few knows how to configure their mobile phone to start accessing the internet. So here are all the manual configuration settings for all the networks in Nigeria.



GLO MANUAL ConFIGURation Settings

Account Name: GLO

Password: wap
Access Point or APN: glosecure
IP or Proxy Address: 010.100.098.022
Port: 8080

 

MTN MANUAL ConfigURATION Settings

Account Name: MTN

AIRTEL MANUAL ConfiguratION Settings

CHINA PHONE CONFIGURATION

That China or Chinko phone cannot be configured OTA by gsm companies in Nigeria so it has to be done manually.
Here is how you can configure it easily;

Go to Menu > Internet/Service > GPRS > Settings > WAP
Enter the details for your network and then set it as the default setting

Afterwards, ,go to Internet > WAP > Settings > Edit account and choose te settings you earlier created and save it.

You should be able to start using that mobile phone for browsing in Nigeria
